DIY: birds stencil on the pot

Il disegno è una delle arti decorative più classiche,
perchè non cimentarvi nell’applicarla sulla superficie di un vaso in terracotta? Se non siete grandi artisti non c’è problema, un piccolo trucco vi aiuterà a superare ogni ostacolo.

The design is one of the more elastic decorative arts, why not challenge your hand in applying it on the surface of a clay vase? If you are not great artists there is no problem, a little trick will help you overcome any obstacle.

Material

• clay pot
• acrylic color

 

Disegnate con la matita il soggetto preferito sul vaso in terracotta senza preoccuparvi di sbagliare in quanto il tratto è perfettamente cancellabile con la gomma, riempite la campitura con il colore acrilico servendovi di un pennello piatto, passate più mani fino alla copertura completa. Eliminate infine con la gomma tutte le tracce di grafite.

Draw with a pencil your favorite subject on the clay pot without worrying about mistakes as the stretch is easily erasable with the rubber, fill the hatch with acrylic color using a flat brush, pass several coats fully covered.  When the paint will be dry eliminate with the rubber all traces of graphite.

Se non avete dimestichezza con il disegno potete ricalcare una qualsiasi illustrazione con carta da lucido e simulando la carta carbone o utilizzate il disegno dell’uccellino in allegato, riempite il retro del foglio in corrispondenza del disegno con abbondanti tratti di grafite oppure utilizzate il disegno in allegato. Girate il foglio e ripassate i contorni dell’illustrazione riportandola sul vaso. Se poi volete procedere con poca fatica e molta resa, usate una mascherina stencil.

If you are not familiar with designing, you may copy any drawing you like with a tracing paper and simulate then the carbon paper or you may use the design of the bird attached, fill the drawing on the back of the paper with abundant stretches of graphite or use the attached design.Turn the paper and draw back and forth through the contours of the drawing on the pot. If you wish to proceed with little effort and a lot of yield, use then a stencil mask.
